Car and foot passenger ferries run to the Island from Southampton, Portsmouth and Lymington in Hampshire every day of the year.
Hovertravel run an Isle of Wight passenger ferry service from Portsmouth to Ryde (25 minutes from Cowes). It’s the quickest service to the Island taking only about 10 minutes. See www.hovertravel.co.uk

Trains – All mainland ferry terminals have British Rail stations with links direct to the ferry terminals.
Travel time from London Waterloo to West Cowes is only 2 hours – you can catch the 5:30pm and be in the garden by 7:30pm cocktail in hand.
