Welcome to The Lille Cabin.  

 

Lille translates to Little in Danish & is inspired by our Danish & English roots as well as our wonderful 'Mormor' Lillian.

 

The Lille Cabin is our beautiful wooden cabin, hidden at the bottom of our garden near Cowes on the Isle of Wight, with beautiful countryside views.

Built and designed by ourselves (Ben & Holly Cooke), The Lille Cabin is our kitchen & creative space where we share our passion for cookery.

 

This beautiful multi-use space is also our food studio - somewhere we can transform beautiful produce into delicious recipes, develop products & professionally photograph or film content for your business or brand, as well as our own.

With a reputation nationally & internationally for our delicious, simple & seasonal dishes using high quality produce, and 35 years combined experience in the world of high end hospitality, we offer a broad selection of expertise to support businesses and brands who want to grow and develop their food brands, restaurants, events & training.

​

Ben has been an experienced professional chef for over 20 years and Holly worked in luxury PR before running The Little Gloster Restaurant & Rooms, as well as being an experienced event planner, creative (& pasta maker).  

​

The Little Gloster ‘Restaurant & Rooms’ in Gurnard, where we were based for ten years until 2020, was awarded ’Best Local Restaurant 2020’ in the South and overall winner across the UK in the Good Food Guide by Waitrose and Partners, featured in Michelin Guide as well as other accolades and achievements.

Current projects include curation & production of the Feast Collective at Camp Bestival (Dorset & Shropshire) & The Little Chefs Den at the Great Wight Bite, hosting the stage with Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall & Chris Bavin, as well as the regular training of all the Superyacht students at the UK Sailing Academy (UKSA), amongst other projects.

With direct industry experience and a little black book of wonderful producers, chefs, brands and creatives , the cabin offers us an inspiration hub, where we can share our passion for the food industry.
